AG2R La Mondiale and Zurich Eurolife in new partnership

AG2R La Mondiale Europartner is to transfer its existing book of international pension plan business to Zurich Eurolife S.A. AG2R La Mondiale Europartner is the Luxembourg-based subsidiary of AG2R La Mondiale, which has a longstanding relationship with Zurich Insurance Group, serving as Zurich’s exclusive international network partner in France.

AG2R La Mondiale said that in order to best assist its international clients, it was strengthening the collaboration in the international pension market by distributing Zurich Eurolife’s group pension plans. Zurich Eurolife is a wholly owned subsidiary of Zurich Insurance Group, based in Luxembourg.

AG2R La Mondiale Europartner will see its existing book of international pension plans transferred to Zurich during the second half of 2017, subject to regulatory approval by the Luxembourg regulator, the Commissariat aux Assurances. The company said the collaboration will allow it to continue to offer clients and partners flexible international pension solutions for their expatriates and mobile employees.

As the French representative of Zurich’s global employee benefits network, AG2R La Mondiale has made pool, captive and international programmes available to customers and intermediaries for many years.

Fabrice Sauvignon, CEO of La Mondiale Europartner, said: “This is fantastic news for our existing customers, who will benefit from transferring to a market-leading international pension plan provider with more than 30 years’ experience. They will benefit from Zurich’s considerable edge in terms of digital capabilities and service excellence.”
