Continental Re enjoys 60% increase in profit

Pan-African reinsurer Continental Reinsurance has seen profit rise 60% before tax in 2016, from NGN2.92bn in 2015 to NGN4.65bn. Gross premium income at NGN22.41bn is 14% higher than the NGN19.74bn reported in 2015.
