AIG names Della Rosa to succeed Lillelund as Europe CEO
AIG has named Paride Della Rosa as CEO of AIG Europe, the Middle East and Africa, succeeding Thomas Lillelund after it was revealed this week that he would be joining Allianz Commercial. Della Rosa moves to head up AIG’s European operations after six years as CEO of AIG in Latin America and the Caribbean. He has worked at AIG for almost 25 years.
AIG said Della Rosa will continue to oversee its Latin America and Caribbean region until a successor is appointed.
Lillelund will leave AIG to become CEO of Allianz Commercial and Allianz Global Corporate & Commercial in 2025, replacing Petros Papanikolaou, who became executive director of group strategic initiatives just eight months after taking the helm from Joachim Müller.
