Antares Asia’s new legal expenses business

Mr Waters reports to Li Shan Yeo, Chief Executive Officer of Antares Asia and former chief underwriting officer at Zurich Singapore.

The insurer said that Mr Waters will launch and develop Antares Asia’s Legal Expenses portfolio. He previously held a range of senior roles at Abbey Legal Protection and Capita Insurance Services.

Antares launched Antares Underwriting Asia as a member of the Lloyd’s Asia Platform in Singapore in October of 2015. Antares Asia initially focused on a core portfolio of marine, property and specialty products building on the strengths of Antares Syndicate 1274 at Lloyd’s.
