Aon appoints global chief claims officer
Aon has named Mona Barnes as global chief claims officer, where she will report to CEO of Commercial Risk Joe Peiser and join that unit’s global leadership team.
Barnes joined Aon in 2023 to oversee several teams of claims professionals in its Global Broking Centre and UK Claims functions.
Prior to joining the firm, she led Swiss Re’s global key case and large loss management team. Barnes has also served as vice-president of Chubb’s overseas claims management.
“Since joining Aon, Mona has demonstrated exceptional leadership and brought invaluable expertise across a wide range of risk classes and complex claims. Her innovative approach and commitment to excellence make her a perfect fit for this role,” said Peiser.
