Aon hires Curtis to lead Asian construction business

Aon has hired Kieran Curtis as regional director of construction and infrastructure (C&I) in Asia.

He will be based in Hong Kong and report to Vincent Banton, Aon’s head of C&I for Asia, who is based in Singapore.

Curtis will be responsible for all of Aon’s C&I business across the Asian region. The focus will be on risk specialist advisory services, enabling client retention and future revenue growth, said the broker.

“This will involve building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing value-added services to meet their requirements,” it added.

Curtis’s broking career spans 30 years, working in Sydney, London and, most recently for the past 11 years, in Hong Kong.

For the last 25 years, he has focused on servicing clients in the construction sector including large building contractors, operation and maintenance contractors, property developers, and various government departments involved in major civil infrastructure projects.

Curtis spent nine years with Aon in Sydney and London from 1996 to 2006 during the formative years of his career and said he is looking forward to re-joining the firm.
