Berkshire Hathaway Specialty opens new London office

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Company (BHSI) has established a new office in London to serve brokers and customers in the UK and southern European countries, including Ireland, Spain, France and Italy.

Richard Nathan has been named head of property lines; Patrick Brown as head of executive & professional liability; and Andrew Walker as head of claims.

Richard Nathan was most recently at Allied World, underwriting on both Lloyd’s and company market platforms. Patrick Brown joins BHSI from Travelers Europe Ltd, where he was head of management liability & financial institutions. Andrew Walker was most recently head of casualty claims in Europe for AIG Europe Ltd, and prior to that, head of liabilities claims for AIG in the UK.
BHSI’s new London office is located at 8 Fenchurch Place, London EC3M 4AJ.
