Besso launches property team with hires from Tysers
Lloyd’s broker Besso has created a new property and speciality team headed by a duo hired from Tysers.
Besso said the new team will focus on open market facultative property risks in the US, Caribbean and international markets while its liability business will focus on open market and facility-based smaller risks internationally, outside the US.
Matthew Sinclair has been appointed as director, joining Besso from Tysers where he was director of the North American and international specialty division alongside David Pratt-Sinclair, who will join Besso as executive producer.
Gemma Barnes will join the team as senior broker and Joe Marston will be broker.
Russ Nichols, joint CEO at Besso, said: “With decades worth of combined experience and a deep understanding of the property and liability markets, they will bolster our global capability, in addition to creating one of the largest property teams working with the Caribbean market.”
