Chubb Global Markets appoints Kirk to head up London specialty business

Chubb has appointed David Kirk to head up its London market wholesale and specialty unit Chubb Global Markets, which includes the firm’s Lloyd’s platform.

Kirk has been promoted from his current position as head of marine and deputy chief underwriting officer within the business.

He will report to David Furby, senior vice-president of Chubb Group and regional president of Chubb Europe, Middle East and Africa, who was the previous division president of Chubb Global Markets.

“David brings significant experience in the London wholesale market,” said Furby. “His underwriting experience and deep knowledge of Chubb Global Markets ideally position him to lead the continued development of our London market wholesale business.”
