Construction Risk Management 2022: why are construction risks so complex? The insurers’ view

In the Commercial Risk session of 2020 we presented the results of a survey of main European  risk manager clients that asked “Why are construction claims so complex?”. This time we present the insurer view, courtesy of a new survey from IMIA. Interesting insights can be drawn from the different opinions between clients and carriers but we all have a common objective: improve claims management in construction. The presentation will be followed by a discussion to debate the major points of the IMIA survey and discuss how claims ratios are evolving in the hard market.
