Ex-Ferma presidents lead Brokerslink’s new risk management service
Global broking business Brokerslink has launched a dedicated risk management practice, led by former Ferma president Jorge Luzzi, to provide its partners and affiliates with access to a single-access specialist consultancy service.
The Swiss-based broking firm, which brings together independent brokers from 130 countries, said the move follows increasing demand from clients around the world for risk management support and advice.
Luzzi, the CEO of Brokerslink risk consulting partner RCG Global, will lead the new practice, which brings together the risk management skills, knowledge and expertise of the network’s specialist partners.
The key players will be Italy-based Augustas Risk Services, also run by a former Ferma president Maurizio Castelli, Los Angeles-based B.Riley Advisory Services and RCG.
Together, they will provide Brokerslink partners and customers with a range of services around risk assessment, risk inspection, enterprise risk management (ERM), risk analysis, loss control, captive management and business continuity services.
Luzzi commented: “One of the key foundations of Brokerslink is cooperation, a philosophy that underlines our shared purpose and creates new opportunities. Our new risk management practice reflects this philosophy: three consultancies working together as one to provide their services across a range of risk management disciplines, including ERM, business continuity, insurance risk management, risk engineering, logistics and supply chain and cybersecurity.”
Brokerslink chairman José Manuel Fonseca added: “The risk management practice has already proved it is possible to pool the skills and knowledge of specialist providers for the benefit of Brokerslink’s partners and affiliates, and their clients. We are already planning more initiatives as we strive to continue to seek out innovative and new ways of bringing together our collective strengths and capabilities.”
