Ferma says insurers not doing enough to help clients through energy transition

Ferma has said there is a lack of risk transfer capacity to support the transition to carbon neutrality and urged the insurance industry stop relying on “backward-looking underwriting guidelines”, in order to deliver new solutions that can better support clients through this difficult period.
