Ferma has re-elected three board members at its general assembly after their previous mandates came to an end.
Charlotte Hedemark Hancke of Danish risk management association Darim was one of three women to make it back onto Ferma’s board.
Hedemark Hancke is senior risk specialist and customer success risk assurance at GR&AS.
Valentina Paduano from Italian association Anra, chief risk and compliance officer at Dedalus, was also re-elected.
So too was Annemarie Schouw from Dutch association Narim. Schouw is risk and insurance manager at Tata Steel.
Ferma also announced at its general assembly that the French presidency of the Council of the EU and the rapporteur for Solvency II revisions have accepted its call for captives to automatically be deemed low risk and enjoy lighter treatment under coming changes to the capital adequacy regime.
