Hong Kong general insurers see surge in underwriting profit for first half

The Hong Kong general insurance industry saw a surge in underwriting profit from $794m to $2,545m for the first half of 2022, compared to the same period in 2021, according to the latest provisional statistics from the city-state’s Insurance Authority (IA).
