Lockton Sweden hires head of affinity from WTW

Lockton has announced Patrick Rönnqvist will join Lockton Sweden from WTW as head of affinity. Rönnqvist will move into his new role at Lockton Sweden in February 2025, leaving WTW after 19 years, where he was most recently lead relationship manager in Sweden and Finland.

Rönnqvist is credited with expanding WTW’s affinity portfolio in Scandinavia.

Lockton said bringing Rönnqvist on board underscores its commitment to expanding its own presence in both Sweden and the wider Nordic region, where it offers clients expertise in real estate, construction, transactional risk and private equity.

In May this year, Lockton announced Johan Lindvall would be leaving WTW to head Lockton Sweden as CEO.
