Malaysian insurance association appoints new board

The Malaysian insurance association (Persatuan Insurans Am Malaysia – PIAM) has announced the appointment of its board of directors for the 2024 to 2026 term.

Mr Ng Kok Kheng, CEO of Great Eastern General Insurance (Malaysia), was elected chairman and Mr Anthony Lee, CEO of AIG Malaysia Insurance, was elected deputy chairman.

The other board members are: Mr Balasubramanian Nagarajan, head of Malaysian Branch at Swiss Re Malaysia; Mr Fabrice Benard, CEO of Generali Insurance Malaysia; En Fukhairudin Mohd Yusof, CEO of Etiqa General Insurance; Mr Gary Hoo, CEO of AIA General; Mr Junior Cho, CEO of Zurich General Insurance Malaysia; Mr Ng Hang Ming, CEO of Tokio Marine Insurans (Malaysia); Mr Puneet Pasricha, CEO of Liberty General Insurance.

Mr Ng brings over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, including 17 years as CEO of Great Eastern General Insurance (Malaysia).
