McGill and Partners has appointed former Aon man Peter Chesman as partner in its UK structured solutions team to focus on alternative risk financing for large clients.
The company said Mr Chesman will particularly concentrate on captives and multiyear structures.
He will support the development of risk financing and risk transfer strategies for large complex clients and captives across multiple lines of insurance.

Brian Kirwan, partner and head of structured solutions at McGill and Partners, said: “Peter brings years of expertise and knowledge to the role and we are thrilled to welcome him to the team. Peter’s decade of hands-on experience in captive-related services will help our clients optimise their captive and risk financing strategy.
“At McGill and Partners, we pride ourselves on hiring the best talent in the market with deep experience and knowledge.
