Miller boosts sports team in France

Specialist broker Miller has appointed Cedric Thevenot as account executive for its sports and entertainment team, based in Paris. Thevenot will join Miller in September from French broker Verspieren and will work with Didier Loiseau, head of Miller Sport in Paris.

Miller said the appointment builds on its European sports and entertainment proposition, which follows its acquisition of Henner Sport in 2022. Its client base has grown to account for 75% of the French national football and basketball teams as well as 850 professional footballers in 30 different countries.

Loiseau said: “We’re delighted to announce that Cedric will be joining the team in Paris. He has an outstanding reputation in our market and, having known him for many years, I know he will be an excellent fit for our business as we look to continue the strong growth of our sports and entertainment offering in Europe.”

Thevenot said he looked forward to joining the Miller team as it seeks further growth.
