MS Amlin appoints O’Donnell as senior underwriter

Specialty Lloyd’s insurer MS Amlin Underwriting has appointed Nathan O’Donnell as senior underwriter for its property book.

O’Donnell joins MS Amlin from Sirius International, where he has worked since 2017 as senior property underwriter.

O’Donnell will report to Sam Geddes, head of property and allied lines for MS Amlin.

Geddes said: “His appointment reaffirms our investment in leading talent and continued commitment to the property market, as we look to grow both our team and our portfolio. He is an excellent addition to the team and his deep experience will be invaluable as we expand both our US and international property accounts.”

O’Donnell has amassed 20 years’ experience in the Lloyd’s market, having also worked at Novae Group, Mitsui Sumitomo, Chaucer and Heritage Managing Agency.
