NatWest names Foad new CRO

NatWest bank has appointed Keiran Foad as chief risk officer (CRO) to replace Bruce Flectcher when he retires in 2023 after four years with the firm.

Foad will take on the role in the second quarter of next year, subject to regulatory approval.

He will join the bank’s executive committee, reporting directly to CEO Alison Rose.

Foad currently works as group CRO at Banco Santander. He also sits on the boards of several of Santander’s fintech subsidiaries.

“I’m looking forward to joining the team at NatWest. I have a passion for making banking simpler and easier, so I’m excited for the opportunity to play my part in supporting the millions of customers who rely on the bank’s services every day,” said Foad.
