New captive management firm launches in US
Heather McClure, a former health care leader at Aon, has co-founded Helio Risk, a risk financing, captive management and consulting company based in the US.
Helio will help businesses form and manage captive insurers in Oklahoma and other domiciles.
It was also help companies identify and manage risk by offering bespoke risk mitigation solutions and insurance placements.
McClure was named general counsel and chief risk officer at Helio. She joins CEO Blake Kerr, chief strategy officer Kyle Sweet and chief operating officer Ashley Napier.
McClure was previously chief risk advisor for Aon’s US health care practice. Prior to that she was chief risk officer of OU Health at the University of Oklahoma.
