New chairman for Strategic Risk Solutions (Barbados)

Strategic Risk Solutions (SRS) has announced the retirement of Chris Evans, who has stepped down from the position of chairman of SRS (Barbados). Kirk Cyrus, who is currently SRS’ managing director in Barbados, has taken on the additional role of chairman as of 1 May,2021.

“During the past year, Kirk has proven himself to be a key member of our executive management structure,” said SRS chief executive officer Brady Young. “This well-deserved promotion is a natural next step as we continue to execute our strategy of expanding our customer base and geographic reach, as we have done recently in other jurisdictions. In welcoming Kirk to his new role, we extend our sincere appreciation to Chris, who has played an integral role in developing a great operation in Barbados, as well as a stellar team and client list. We wish him all the best in his retirement.”

According to SRS, Mr Cyrus was born in Barbados and is well known and respected in the insurance sector in the territory. He serves on the insurance committee of the Barbados International Business Association.
