Rims adds Kentucky chapter
US risk management society Rims has added a new chapter in Kentucky, based in Louisville.
Rims Greater Bluegrass Chapter’s inaugural board of directors includes Erica Kiefer, senior analyst at Yum Brands, who will serve as president; and Dave Orberson, senior director, risk management at Churchill Downs , who will serve as vice-president.
As first reported in our sister publication Business Insurance, Rims now has 80 official chapters, 65 of which are located in the US, ten in Canada and one each in India, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand and Australia.
The Kentucky chapter will hold a strategic planning meeting on 9 June to develop goals, programming and a schedule for the remainder of the year and 2023.
