RSA Luxembourg adds product lines in Europe

RSA Luxembourg has launched two new product lines for technology and management liability in Europe.

Part of Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions, RSA Luxembourg said Aaron Belair will lead its technology solution unit as head of liability, professional indemnity and technology for Europe. Erik Lindeman will lead the management liability unit as head of management liability lines for Europe.

The company said its technology launch will help protect technology companies with a range of property, casualty, professional indemnity and cyber insurance solutions. Clients will have access to risk control consultation, dedicated claims resources and RSA’s cyber incident response panel, RSA said.

Belair added: “In today’s economic landscape, technology insurance serves as a vital safeguard against the specific risks of technology businesses. We will provide tailored coverages and services to minimise risks and support the development of current and emerging technologies.”

The management liability launch will offer companies and its executives protection against disputes and claims that arise as a result of their decision or actions, with a focus on private companies, not-for-profit entities, healthcare organisations and publicly traded companies.

RSA said it already offers directors & officers liability to businesses in Belgium, France and the Netherlands, and will expand the line into Spain by early 2025. Other new products including employment practices liability, fiduciary liability and crime protection will be gradually rolled out to European clients, the company said.

Lindeman added: “In today’s constantly evolving global operating environment, having in place solid liability insurance protection for companies and its executives is key.”
