Super-typhoon Nanmadol losses manageable for Japan’s non-life insurers, says Best

AM Best expects insured losses from super-typhoon Nanmadol to be manageable for Japan’s non-life insurers. Best noted that the typhoon, which at one point was classified as a “violent typhoon”, made landfall as a Category 2 storm, and is one of the strongest typhoons to reach Japan in decades.
