High-profile judging panel named for European Risk Management Awards

Ferma and Commercial Risk Europe are delighted to announce another line-up of leading risk managers as judges for our annual European Risk Management Awards. Now in their third year, the awards aim to boost the standing of risk management and encourage better performance at companies that deliver tools to help them do their job. They therefore recognise the highest achievers within the European risk management community and reward excellence and innovation within the core service provider sector: insurers, brokers and professional services. The European Risk Management Awards 2018 will be presented at a gala dinner in Brussels on 21 November. Once again, Ferma and Commercial Risk Europe have worked hard to ensure a fully independent and highly respected judging panel of leading risk managers from within Ferma and its national associations to decide the winners. The confirmed judges for 2018 are: Andrew Bradley, Lifetime Achievement winner in 2017 Sebastian Bregning, Darim Julia Graham, Airmic Sabrina Hartusch, Sirm Jorge Luzzi, Apogeris Dogu Ozden, Erma Alexander Mahnke, GvnW Ian Stafrace, Marm Maja Sustersic, SI.Risk Alessandro De Felice, Anra The European Risk Management Awards were launched by Ferma and Commercial Risk Europe to help raise the profile of risk management within the wider business community and show the value it can bring. The awards, headline sponsored by Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty, will therefore once again seek out top performance among our members and readers. They also help identify service providers that are genuinely prepared to invest in areas that really matter to their customers. To help ensure we uncover the very best performance, we are this year inviting risk and insurance managers to vote on which service providers have delivered. The voting is now open and will be submitted to the judges alongside standard entries received from companies wishing to be recognised. Against the backdrop of much transformational change within the insurance industry, the awards also recognise high-achieving individuals. The categories for the 2018 programme are: Excellence in Risk Management Risk Manager of the Year Rising Star of the Year Innovative Insurance Programme of the Year Emerging Risk Initiative of the Year – NEW Lifetime Achievement Excellence in Customer Service Captive Management Solution of the Year Insurer Innovation of the Year Broker Innovation of the Year Emerging Risk Solution of the Year Global Programme Innovation of the Year Technology Innovation of the Year Claims Innovation of the Year Individual Insurer Rising Star of the Year – NEW Broker Rising Star of the Year – NEW Insurer Leader of the Year Broker Leader of the Year The entry process is open now and will close on 22 August 2018.
