Anra elects Fraire as new president
Italian risk and insurance management association Anra has named Gabriella Fraire, insurance manager at Prysmian, as its new president.
Fraire takes over from Carlo Cosimi, who is head of group risk and insurance at Italian multinational engineering group Maire Tecnimont, and will lead the association during a three-year mandate.
Cosimi can be very happy with his term in office, which has seen Anra gain in prominence, increase its clout and develop key services for members.
Fraire was elected with more than 200 votes from Anra members at the association’s ordinary assembly in Milan.
The members also voted in 13 board members that will join Faire with a three year-term in office.
Eight of the board members are men and five are women.
The new board of directors consists of:
- Antonino Callaci
- Maurizio Castelli
- Giorgio Gaglio
- Paolo Lionetti
- Federica Maria Rita Livelli
- Federico Lucia
- Gianluigi Lucietto
- Annamaria Oliva
- Paola Radaelli
- Francesca Schiezzari
- Stefano Scoccianti
- Marco Terzago
Fraire and her board have announced several objectives to tackle over the next few years. They want to increase the association’s visibility and develop new partnerships with other professional entities, research bodies and universities.
They also plan to strengthen Anra’s presence across Italy and spread the risk culture through more small and medium-sized companies, which Anra said represent the “true heart of Italy’s productive fabric”.
