ACE improves Worldview to deliver online claims and loss data ACE Group has enhanced its ACE Worldview portal to provide its multinational clients and brokers with online access to claim and detailed loss information for all multinational lines of business. Key features of this enhancement include online display of loss data, multiple export functions for downloading loss data, loss reporting tools allowing users to setup customisable, recurring reports and a loss alerts function for triggering email notifications for designated claim criteria. The online platform ACE Worldview was first introduced in 2010. It is designed to enable multinational risk managers and their insurance brokers to monitor the status of their entire global programme in real time, obtain copies of local insurance policies and certificates and access proprietary research tools.hideFeatures-including access to programme contacts, multinational standards, policy issuance monitoring and other detailed reports-are customisable to clients' unique needs. David Flandro to join Towers Re as Global Head of Strategic Advisory JLT Towers Re has appointed David Flandro as Global Head of Strategic Advisory. Mr Flandro will be based in JLT Towers Re's New York office and is expected to start in his new role at mid-year. Prior to joining JLT Towers Re, Mr Flandro was Global Head of Business Intelligence for Guy Carpenter where he led efforts on corporate strategy, international rating advisory, market entry, capital structure, credit risk advisory and many other specialised issues. Ed Hochberg, Executive Vice President-Global Head of Analytics, Banking and Advisory at JLT Towers Re, said: "This new and important role at JLT Towers Re will focus on our new business strategy, ERM and strategic/financial consulting. Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford launches its first MENA operation in Dubai Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford (CGSC), the global wholesale and reinsurance broker, has launched its first Middle East and North Africa (MENA) operation. Based in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) the new unit will be called Cooper Gay (Dubai) Ltd and will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cooper Gay (Holdings) Ltd. The move represents CGSC's first footsteps into the MENA region, with further expansion planned in the future. The new company, which will handle all classes of business in conjunction with the group's wholesale operations in London, Asia and around the globe, will structure innovative treaty and facultative solutions for regional and multinational insurance companies. It will also work with third party brokers across the MENA region. Toby Esser, CGSC Group Chief Executive Officer, commented: "The insurance industry in the MENA region is undergoing significant transformation and has demonstrated impressive growth in recent years. We believe that there is tremendous potential for CGSC, particularly following Lloyd's plans, announced earlier this year, to open a representative office in the emirate." "The CGSC model places local experts in core client markets.
