DAC Beachcroft partners with Singapore law practice

Law firm DAC Beachcroft (DACB) has formed an association with Incisive Law, an independent Singapore law practice, to work together in Singapore. DACB said the new association will see the two law firms collaborate to provide a seamless offering to their clients, covering Singapore and English law. “With their combined expertise and international reach, the two firms will be well positioned to meet the ever-expanding needs of their clients in the Asia-Pacific region,” said DACB. Established in 2011, DACB’s Singapore office specialises in providing advice on complex, high-value and international risks across all lines of insurance business and all aspects of reinsurance. In 2022, the firm welcomed partners Summer Montague, who now leads the Singapore office, and Andrew Robinson. Incisive Law, led by joint managing directors Bill Ricquier and Wai Yue Loh, has a strong reputation in shipping, international trade & commodities and marine insurance, as well as offering the full spectrum of legal services to local Singapore and multinational businesses across other sectors. Loh, who was previously a partner in an international law firm and based in Greater China, also has extensive experience advising Chinese clients. In support of their association, both firms have also made recent investments in talent to strengthen their respective shipping practices, with new partners joining both firms. Jennifer Ledsham will lead on client delivery for corporate insurance & risk. A claims operations expert for over 17 years, she has re-engineered and managed end-to-end claims for corporates with a strong emphasis on improving efficiency and driving performance. She has headed claims teams locally, remotely and offshore. Tim Short will support corporate insurance & risk’s transport & logistics industry sector. He has more than 25 years’ experience of advising corporates on all issues arising from major motor incidents, including coverage and indemnity, motor prosecutions, fatal accident and large loss claims. His particular focus has been on commercial vehicle fleets, contributing to end-to-end claims solutions for high-profile corporates.
