Mitsui Sumitomo buys hybrid fronting company Transverse to boost US expansion

Mitsui Sumitomo is buying US-based hybrid fronting company Transverse to build its presence in the US market.

Terms of the deal were disclosed, but a report from Nikkei newspaper at the weekend said it would cost Mitsui Sumitomo about $400m.
