Parima heads to Manila for first of three conferences this year
The Pan-Asia Risk and Insurance Management Association (Parima) will hold the first of a series of conferences this year in Manila as it returns to the Philippines for the first time post-Covid.
The event on 29 and 30 May is set to bring together 300 risk and insurance professionals from the Philippines and across the Asia-Pacific region.
For the first time, Parima will host back-to-back conferences in Manila in May and Mumbai, India, in June. The final Parima conference of the year will take place in Taipei, Taiwan in November. The theme of the conferences is ‘Global Risks, Asia’s Response’.
Parima said the Manila conference will shed light on topics of key concern to risk and insurance managers in the Philippines, such as nat cat and parametrics, cyber risk, geopolitical risks and supply chain disruption. People risks, captives, emerging risks and climate change will also be in focus.
The first day of the conference is exclusively for risk managers to participate in member-only forums and four masterclasses centred on artificial intelligence, climate resilience, natural catastrophes and claims management. The second day will cover 13 topics.
Commercial Risk Asia will be launching on the 14 May and will be attending the Parima events this year to bring you all the latest news and analysis.
