RSA names Collman property lead for UK specialty lines

RSA Insurance has appointed Tony Collman as property director in its UK specialty lines business.

Collman has been filling the role on an interim basis since December after Neil Cryer left the company.

He will not be responsible for leading RSA’s risk managed, real estates and wholesale international property on a full time basis, managing a team of more than 50 underwriters.

UK Specialty Lines is part of Intact’s Global Specialty Lines, which offers global propositions for customers and brokers with more complex international risks, and has the ability to write business in more than 180 countries.

Steve Watson, managing director at UK specialty at RSA Insurance said: “It is great news to be able to announce that Tony has been named to lead our UK specialty property business. I have worked with Tony for a number of years, he’s an expert in the property space and is really well respected by colleagues, brokers and clients.
