Sedgwick appoints head of UK environmental adjusting practice

Jonathan Mockridge has been appointed head of Sedgwick’s UK environmental adjusting practice. In his new role he will be responsible for overseeing Sedgwick’s environmental adjusting and will focus on cost-effective remedial strategies for addressing the challenges of site-specific pollution events.

Sedgwick said he will draw on his previous experience working alongside environmental statutory regulators and benefit from access to the specialist environmental consulting services provided by EFI Global, part of Sedgwick. Additionally, he will provide supportive guidance to help customers work with statutory regulators.

Mockridge joins Sedgwick from a UK specialist loss adjusting and claims handling company and brings over 25 years of insurance industry experience. He spent 13 years specialising in environmental losses associated with commercial, agricultural and domestic pollution incidents and involving a variety of contaminants.
