Sedgwick names COO for UK

Claims management firm Sedgwick has appointed Peter Farrelly as chief operating officer in the UK. Farrelly joined Sedgwick in 2019 as managing director for its UK commercial claims services, spearheading the firm’s talent development and succession planning programme as well as dealing with complex commercial property and business interruption claims.

“Peter’s unparalleled expertise in scaling operations, driving process improvements, and fostering innovation give me the greatest confidence in his ability to deliver operational excellence and fuel business growth amid challenging socioeconomic conditions,” said Neil Gibson, Sedgwick CEO in the UK.

Joseph Noel, currently director, head of commercial property and subsidence for the UK, will take over from Farrelly as managing director, commercial claims services.
